Make sure to tune your batten tension with the right amount of tension. In general the bottom battens (with more built in shape), should have more tension than the top. Tension the battens with the Allen key that comes in the pocket of your sail bag. Make sure to only apply enough tension so the small wrinkles will disappear along the batten pockets.

After tuning batten tension the first time, you should check again after approximately 5 times on the water. Sometimes materials will set in and stretch a little over this time and we advise you to check the batten tension again, but adjustment should only be minor. If you use cam sails and can’t get the tension wright please also have a look if you need spacers on the cams.
