KA Sail Windsurfing

Our design brief was simple. Create the fastest possible sails for pro level Slalom and Formula racing. The result is the 2011 KaRace, a full blown, uncompromised competition sail for the dedicated racer. Be warned, this is a serious sail. 8 carbon composite battens and 4 cams combined with a wide luff sleeve and high tension foil provide the most amazing draft stability you will ever experience. This sail can be driven hard in seriously overpowered conditions. A deep draft with a fine entry provides loads of low down power while allowing super high upwind angles. The upper foil is twisted and slippery for uncompromised top end speed. The smaller sizes are aimed squarely at Slalom racing. The emphasis is on acceleration and top end speed. The larger sizes being dedicated to Formula racing offer uncompromised draft stability .This allows the racer be comfortable on a very large sail upwind and then unleash all this power for deep off the wind angles and blistering speed. High tech materials such as Kevlar and Spectra are used in the high load areas to enable extremely low stretch without adding unnecessary weight.
